WHAT: ELITE WORKSHOPS 2008 FOUR STUDENTS MAXIMUM LOTS OF INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION
WHERE: My new square, lighter studio at Toad Row, Henstead (directions on www.hensteadartandcraftcentre.co.uk)
REFRESHMENTS: For lunch please bring a small plate of food to share. I will provide green salad, bread & rice cakes, wine, and a selection of teas, coffee and cookies for the breaks. I have crockery, cutlery and glasses.
TIME: 9.30am (for coffee) until 3.30pm (tea and cakes)

WORKSHOP DATES: SAT 26 JULY, WED 13 AUGUST, SAT 25 OCTOBER & WED 12 NOVEMBER For experienced watercolourists who wish to explore 'outside the box.' You will bring with you resources for a subject that inspires you, I will help if you need material from which to work. You can experience watercolour, inks , mixed media – wherever your aspirations may take you. We will discuss your project, and together devise a plan of approach to produce successful (and probably some unsuccessful but enlightening!) pieces of work. The aim is to help you work with more direction and confidence when you are painting at home/inyour studio.
WORKSHOP DATES: WED 16 JULY, SAT 27 SEPTEMBER & WED 15 OCTOBER For absolute beginners to learn simple drawing and painting flat washes and areas of wet in wet. Find out about and experience the tools of the trade, papers, and colour mixing...or not to mix! Also for those with a little experience who wish to practice and improve their watercolour skills, especially paying attention to working loose and intuitively.
