I am fascinated by the ‘flow’ of watercolour and its ability to merge gently into pools of translucent colours, creating a world of its own which never fails to impress me. I like to use a ‘bleeding’ line to add definition where necessary and am interested in using other mediums to arrest and encourage flow – the ebb and flow of watercolour.
I feel that watercolour still has many avenues to travel and there is a lot of exciting work to be done.

Only 4 people attend at a time so you will receive plenty of individual
tuition.
Wet in Wet is a technique which fascinates many people and it is
something which I enjoy tutoring and exploring.
Water-based Vibrant Inks are great fun and create bright solid areas
of colours.
Watercolour crayons and other media used with watercolour allow
for more ‘definition’ in your work, something that can be lacking in
the pale watercolours of the beginner.
